Zucchini, 1 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Two seedlings on 1 June, their long strap-shaped seed leaves still lying flat across the mix while three ridged stalks have gone up from each crown, one five-lobed blade grown right out over the bench edge, everything beaded from watering.
