Peppers, 5 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Tabasco pepper on 5 June, seven leaves in a party cup with its growing point still a tight little cluster at the top, the shed seed coat caught at the base of the stem and a green film of algae spreading over the soil there.
