Peppers, 5 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Habanero on 5 August, its leaves the loudest thing in the frame, broad blades quilted and bubbled between every vein rather than lying flat, with pale lime fruit and white flowers hanging under them and everything freshly wet.
