Tomatoes, 4 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Big Boy tomatoes on 4 August, four crowded hard against each other on one truss, each a flattened pale apple-green globe faintly banded darker and struck with a single hard white highlight, under sun that lays hard-edged leaf shadows across it.
