Peppers, 17 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Ristra Cayenne chilies on 17 August, a curtain of them hanging long and hooked, one turned comma-curved scarlet at the front and one behind mottling to amber under so many raised blisters that they cannot be told from the rain on them.
