Tomatoes, 19 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Pineapple Tomato on 19 August, close to the lens and wholly unripe — five big lobes radiating from a puckered crown, apple-green paling toward one side with no red anywhere — and a clutch of tan toadstools risen beside it in dappled sun.
