Onions, 7 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Scallions pulled on 7 June and heaped on the butcher block with the roots cut away square — blue-green tubes dusted with a waxy bloom, a few split lengthwise, four sections cut off to one side to show the hollow bore, in warm indoor light.
