Carrot, 27 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Danvers 126 carrots on 27 August, a steel bed seen from its corner and sown unevenly — a thick band of ferny seedlings straight down the middle, thinning to scattered singles at the far end — with mown grass beyond the metal.
