Tomatoes, 7 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Rosso Sicilian tomato on 7 June, gray-green and thickly fringed with white hairs, its lowest leaflets already limp — no flower on it yet, though the bushier plant behind it carries small yellow blooms, the mown grass beyond shadowless in bright overcast.
