Carrot, 4 September 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Danvers 126 carrot tops left unthinned on 4 September and coming on uneven — a tall dark mass through the right two thirds, the nearest plants still short and open in loose rosettes — with low sun behind turning the front fronds translucent chartreuse.
