Ginger, 7 September 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A shoot whose blades come off strictly two-ranked, left then right in one plane, so the whole plant reads flat from above on 7 September — one blade at upper left gone pale, its margin buckled into a wave and its tip bleached to cream — in flat wet light.
