Peppers, 3 September 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A King of the North pepper hangs from a peduncle bent over in a shepherd's hook on 3 September, still clean glossy green and fluted down its length, its own dried flower clinging at the blossom end — with seeded grass arching across the frame in front.
