The harvest, 5 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A bundle of forty-odd hollow round leaves lies cut ends together across the top of a red towel on 5 August, tips fanning out and still beaded — below it four pale unripe globes and one lone fruit already gone soft orange over its lower half, in kitchen light.
