Tomatoes, 8 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Seventeen fruits on mottled slate on 8 August, a hard low beam raking from the left so each throws a long shadow right and everything past the lit strip drops into black; the one set apart has opened at its stem end into a ragged dark cavity.
