Tomatoes, 9 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Twenty-two ripe fruits crowded onto a printed paper towel on 9 August, most of them an even deep red — except a pair at the center left that are not red at all but dusky rose-brown with a bronze-green cast and a soft metallic sheen.
