Tomatoes, 12 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Ten fruits on a paper towel over rust-and-ochre slate on 12 August, five of them a deep rose-red under a dusty matte bloom; the odd one is elongated, dusky rose-brown shading to olive-bronze with a patch of true green low on one flank.
