Putting up, 15 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A rotary food mill sunk into the rim of a mixing bowl on 15 August, two-thirds full of orange-brown puree gone matte and frothed at the surface, a clot of pale pulp caked around the crank hinge. Amber juice has dried in splashes across the butcher block.
