Tarragon, 6 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A leggy herb on 6 June, one thin stem running up out of the frame with its leaves spaced along it, each blade cut into a few coarse uneven lobes so it reads torn rather than toothed and the lowest cut deepest, all of it cool and shadowless in open shade.
