The harvest, 16 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

One dark-rinded round fruit shows the pale patch it lay against the ground on, fine striations radiating out from the blossom scar at its center and dried soil still stuck to the skin. Hard daylight on 16 August, long shadows and a green cast on the cloth.
