Tomatoes, 24 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A dry-erase board laid flat on the counter on 24 August and used to sort by name, a line of marker beside each group. Among two dozen red ones, a single large flattened fruit is pure egg-yolk yellow, heavy in the shoulder lobes with a wide corky stem scar.
