Peppers, 9 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A root plug lying on its side on the mown lawn on 9 June, tipped out and dropped, one face still holding the molded shape of the cell it came from and the broken face a mat of root fiber — of the plant itself only a snapped stub and one crumpled tip.
