The garden, 11 September 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A whole day's picking laid out on white cloth on 11 September, sorted into rows: ribbed flattened green fruits blushing orange stars at the blossom end, a dozen wrinkled bonnet-shaped pods from red to orange. Warm kitchen light, no sun.
