Peppers, 11 September 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Ghost peppers on 11 September, six or so pods hanging pendant from the nodes, still entirely green to yellow-green and glossy, each wrinkled skin tapering to a pointed, slightly hooked tip. Low evening light warms the grass behind.
