Bean, 21 September 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Tavera filet beans picked on 21 September, nearly every slender pod still wearing its five-lobed calyx and a shriveled flower remnant at the stem end, one fine thread-like tail trailing at lower right. Soft warm indoor light, rinse droplets on a white towel.
