Peaches, 6 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A young peach on 6 June, cream-green with a warm tan blush along one flank and a suture groove down its near face, its whole surface a standing white nap of hairs that the direct sun picks out one by one against the dark of the canopy.
