Hylotelephium (Showy Stonecrop), 28 September 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Showy Stonecrop (Sedum spectabile) on 28 September, its stout unbranched stems topped by flat corymbs packed with tight pink-tipped buds over pale green, only a scattering open so the heads read as a rosy haze. The light is flat and shadowless under cover.
