The garden, 30 September 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

An end-of-season pick laid out in rows on a white dish towel on 30 September, almost everything still green: one flattened, ribbed fruit shows a dark corky scar at the stem end and fine lines in its shoulder creases. Warm overhead light, no daylight.
