Tomatoes, 18 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Sub Arctic Plenty tomato on 18 June, its stout stem so thickly bristled that the hairs catch light along its whole length, the leaflets blistered and puckered above and paler and hairy beneath, several drooping, under dim flat light in a plank-walled shed.
