Strawberries, 21 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Five Early June strawberries picked on 21 June, each scarlet but still cream-blush at the shoulder where the calyx shaded it, their seeds sunk in dimples ringed with a raised paler halo, wet skins catching the only highlight in dim indoor light.
