Peppers, 23 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A pepper sold as Scotch Bonnet on 23 June, eight leaves spread flat into a near-perfect circle from one very short crown, rainwater beaded across them and short stiff white hairs plain along each leaf stalk, one blade holed where something chewed it.
