Tomatoes, 17 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Sunray tomato on 17 June already setting fruit, a swollen green ovary on a short hairy truss, and above it the spent flower hanging limply back along the stalk with its petals faded to cream and straw and a yellow flush still at their bases.
