Strawberries, 12 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

An Early June strawberry ripening lopsided on 12 June, salmon-pink flushed down one side of a cream receptacle with a corky pink band round its waist and its seeds standing proud in a dome at the top, in sun hard enough to light every leaf hair.
