Peppers, 24 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Jalapeno on 24 June, not in flower yet: one plump ribbed bud hanging where its pedicel curves over, pale green at the base and creamy white at the closed tip, with a smaller one beside it and hard sun cutting shadows across the straw.
