Peppers, 24 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

An Anaheim on 24 June, one stout stem swollen at every node and forking as it climbs, a single white-tipped bud half hidden in a leaf axil two thirds of the way up, and its own shadow laid out sharp across the straw in hard midday sun.
