Peppers, 25 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A pepper sold as Scotch Bonnet on 25 June, all leaf and nothing else yet, each glossy blade cupping as it puckers and dimples between its sunken veins, the newest at the crown paler and crimped along the edge, and one stem below branching into three or four shoots.
