Bay, 29 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Sweet Bay on 29 June, its leathery leaves crimped and rippling in and out along every edge over red-brown wood, the newest pair at each tip still soft and bronze-gold, standing in warm dim indoor light with no sun on it at all.
