Tomatillos, 29 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Pineapple tomatillo on 29 June, its husk drawn so tight over the fruit that the five ribs stand up as raised pleats with the dried flower still at the tip, side-lit hard on a morning that has the lawn behind it in full sun.
