Zucchini, 29 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A zucchini washed and laid on the cutting board on 29 June, its near-black skin flecked all over with tiny pale green dots and still holding beads of water down one flank, a scatter of dark berries and one green tomato alongside.
