Raspberries, 7 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Red raspberries on 7 July, a clump arching straight out of mown grass with no edge to it, the fruit thin on the cane and at two stages — hard cream ones and bright pink-red thimbles, a few already fading tan and drying where they hang.
