Peaches, 7 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A young peach tree on 7 July, its leaves folded upward along a pale midrib so the whole canopy hangs as a mass of narrow drooping blades, and a handful of hard fruitlets sitting close in against the branches, grooved down one side.
