Peppers, 9 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A California Wonder pepper on 9 July, still only five leaves on one green stem, each blade unbitten and unmarked and glowing yellow-green where the low sun comes through it, the whole plant beaded with water though no rain is falling.
