Peppers, 9 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A King of the North pepper on 9 July, one flower already hanging spent from the crown — a green five-lobed calyx holding a bell of tan-brown petals pointing straight down — with wide scalloped bites out of the leaf margins and dew on every blade.
