Cucumbers, 9 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

On 9 July vines run up two flat mesh panels on single unbranched tendrils, each coiled tight around the wire — angular leaves shallowly cut into pointed lobes, small yellow five-petaled flowers all along the stems, and not one fruit set anywhere.
