Peppers, 9 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Cubanelle pepper on 9 July shot with the sun coming through from behind so the upper leaves burn translucent yellow-green — chewed to bare windows in places where only the top skin is left — and at the crown two short curved stalks with nothing on the end.
