Peppers, 9 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Sunbright pepper on 9 July with the culprit still on it — a pale tan beetle-like insect, faintly banded down the back, sitting head-down on a leaf right beside a fresh hole, the other blades scalloped away to windows and dusted over with kaolin.
