Peppers, 9 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A small struggling seedling on 9 July, one leaf collapsed brown the whole length of its midrib, two more shriveled and folded shut and the crown leaves cupped in on themselves — a single tiny green bud still sitting to one side, dew standing on all of it.
