Peppers, 9 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A small plant on 9 July with a knot of crumpled new leaves still folded shut in its crown and two of its largest blades bitten out in big clean crescents from the margin — one pale bud low down, too soft to read as a flower, everything beaded in early sun.
