Peppers, 9 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Purple Tiger pepper on 9 July, three or four flowers open and a dusty lavender instead of the usual cream — the whole plant silvered under kaolin heavy enough to read as variegation, its splash marks still following where the droplets ran and pooled.
