Peppers, 9 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

On 9 July a crown of leaves variegated every which way — some almost blackish-green, some half cream-white, others splashed and speckled along the midrib — the nodes and newest growth flushed purple-black, a chalky spray streaked over all of it.
