Raspberries, 12 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Red raspberries on 12 July, eight or nine thimbles scattered through one arching prickly cane and no two the same shade — deep crimson beside a paler pinkish-red already drying — the leaves flipping pale, almost white, underside-up in hard midday sun.
